Chitosan

Chitosan is a natural polymer compound, also known as chitosan, and its scientific name is β-1,4-poly-glucosamine. It is usually processed from marine organisms such as Alaskan deep-sea snow crabs through decalcification, deproteinization, decolorization, deacetylation and other processes. It is known as the sixth life element of the human body. Chitosan has a unique network structure and can be made into a transparent film with a porous structure by using appropriate solvents. Its solution is viscous and is an ideal film former. In addition, chitosan also has good acid resistance, making it of special application value in fields such as fruit preservation.
